Managed workforce attendance and secure site access for Microsoft Thermal Energy Center
Partnering with BuildingPoint Pacific, Skanska Balfour Beatty, JV, Sellen and GLY, CrewSight was deployed during the construction phase of the award-winning Microsoft Thermal Energy Center project in Redmond, Washington from 2019 to 2023.
With the overall project averaging over 3000 workers per day during its peak, it is one of the largest construction projects the team have had the pleasure of collaborating on.
CrewSight software managed workforce attendance and provided secure site access alongside 13 turnstile units, with one dedicated solely to GLY workers. Specifying one access gate for GLY workers insured they were entering the jobsite in the appropriate area, keeping the workers from areas they were not familiar with, thereby reducing potential safety issues. The capture of accurate workforce data helped maintain a compliant workforce that met health and safety and site security requirements.
